For the entire month of October, me, your Big Mama Goth, will be featuring songs by Big Mama Goth female vocalists and the bands who back them up!  Here's the first in this series: 

"The Other Side" by SIRENIA, a Norwegian gothic metal band sure to tickle your fancy with their epic ballads.  Lead vocalist, Monika Pedersen has the look and sound of a great Big Mama Goth.  And check out those guys in the band!  She's surrounded by pretty man flesh.  Now that's a Big Mama Goth, babes.  And do you know how I can tell I'm going to really love a song? The Other Side by SIRENIA

I was going to post lyrics here, but none have been put out online.  I guess you'll have to check out the ablum, "Nine Destinies and a Downfall" -- so far the download has been worth it for me.  SIRENIA are kinda like ABBA meets Evanesence!  But much, much cooler.  Monika Pedersen's baby voice has never sounded better backed up by those guitars.
